I have had at least 3 separate shopping trips this week. I put it down to being near payday and I still have spare cash. Yes I could probably pay off more of my credit card but CLOTHES.
Here are just a few items I’ve bought recently that I can’t see myself ever taking off this season. ‘Cept for my Christmas jumper.
I don’t think I can express my love for clothes in this colour enough. It looks PHENOM with a red lip and goes ever so chicly with all the items of black I own. This skirt above, from New Look (£19.99), can be paired with black tights and a plethora of black, grey, white, khaki and wine coloured tops. My favourite way to wear it is with ankle boots, a black and white striped Bardot top and my new beaut coat (£49.99), also New Look.
Cross – over/wrap tops
I bought blush and grey wrap tops from River Island about 4 years ago and I can never part from them because they are just so bloody chic. They can be with skinny jeans or effortlessly tucked into an a-line skirt, this khaki bad boy, above, from New Look (£19.99) has already had so much wear this Autumn. I also have this dress from Topshop that looks amazing from the front, but like I’m 9 months pregnant from the side. But COMFORT and CHIC.
Just one look at my Instagram is enough to see how much I’m bumming khaki this A/W. This colour is the equivalent to my jam coming on in a club. It’s my N****s in Paris. This jumper (above) is from Primark.
The shoes are New Look AND in the sale. They’ll only go with skinny jeans as I never get my legs out and they’d look horrifique with black tights BUT I pretty much only ever wear skinnies anyway so I can see them getting a fair bit of use.
Err thang New Look
The Blogger Nation’s stripe obsession sees no signs of slowing down. Stripes can be worn with anything and are the ideal pattern to dress up or down. Plus this old HM dress (above) looks the nuts with a plum lip.
BUH BYE statement necklaces. I’ll see you again in spring over a plain white or grey tee. But for now, I’m all about dainty chains and tiny rings to dress up an outfit. Gold goes best with camel, khaki and stripes in my opinion, so I’ll be digging out all of my old favourites, including that gorgeous Kate Spade watch.
So now you can see what I’ll be forever wearing until Spring – what are your wardrobe staples?
