14 things you need for your Autumn date wardrobe

Since moving house and finally being able to share London rent with another person, I’ve been fortunate enough to get round to updating my wardrobe.

I’m super lazy and hate carrying loads of heavy stuff so when I moved, I chucked out (took to the charity shop actually) LOADS of old clothes. Because vertical stripes are out and so is any other colour than black, grey, khaki or blue. For me anyway. I likes what I likes.

Moving to a new area, also means a totally new crop of local dating app matches and therefore the possibility of new dates. I’ve spoken a lot about my normal dating ‘uniform’ which is a button up skirt, top, tights and ankle boots, but I decided I wanted a refresh and to step out of comfort zone.

So here are a few things I’ve added to my dating wardrobe, alongside a few more pieces that would go with what I’ve already got, to give myself that sassy, confident feeling.

Whether I’m just going for drinks or a casual coffee, these pieces can be put together with wardrobe staples like black skinnies or with each other to totally nail the ‘smart casual’ vibe.

Which bits do you wish were in your wardrobe?
