You’ll be shocked to find I will have NO Halloween dates this year (NAHT) but I’ve been out and about in London this week and have picked up on some things you guys should DEFINETLY do.
1. Gothic Midtown
Located at the Old Central St Martin’s Building is this thrill-themed pop up bar. With smokey cocktails and a devilish decor, you’re sure to terrify your date into wanting date number 2. To make things all the more creepy, Paranornal Lad – Derek Acorah – is taking members of the public on a scare walk this Halloween weekend. I’ve teamed up with Gothic Midtown to offer you guys discounted tickets to the 6pm pop up bar and walk on the 29th October. Just follow this link and use the code, ‘DerekRules’ for 20% off! There are only 10 tickets available at this price so BE QUICK.
2. Bat Walk on Streatham Common
Big up my endz but Stretters is actually beaut (as you can see from the picture above) and this would make for such a cute and totally cheap date night. Head down with a picnic basket and a bottle of Prosecco or 5 and you’ve got yourselves your own little creepy crawl in search of bats. Fun!
3. The London Bridge Experience
I went down to try the annual adult only Phobophobia ‘The Ventriloquist Nightmare‘ experience and without spoiling it for you – ABSO HORRIFIC. You’re chased by ghouls and demons alike around this dark maze to the tombs of London Bridge and this is the perfect date because you get to do this all, clamped very tightly to your bae. For safety reasons obvs.
4. ‘Teen Horror Movie Marathon’ Prince Charles Cinema
Netflix Horror Films and Chill is not quite up to scratch this Halloween so why not upgrade your smooching on the couch game to head to the Prince Charles Cinema on Saturday 29th October. They are showing classic teen Halloween films like I Know What You Did Last Summer and The Craft BACK TO BACK. I’m such a movie buff – especially horror films so this is my IDEAL date. Get your tickets quick though, they’re going fast.
UPDATE: Sold Out BUT Prince Charles has LOADS of other fun cinema date ideas!
What are you doing for Halloween with your fave this year?
*this post was written in collaboration with Gothic Midtown but as ever, all thoughts and date ideas are my own.
