This post is part two of a sponsored post with Seven Seas but all reflections are my own. Read part one, here.
WOAH HOLD UP, stop reading this post and make sure you’ve read part one first.
That’s where I give you the low down on my collaboration with Seven Seas and the product that I trialled for 60 days, alongside my thoughts around my skin and in particular, ageing.
Fab, you’re back. Pop open a Diet Coke and settle in as I let you in on how I felt at the end of this trial plus my thoughts on my skincare regime moving forward.
As I’ve previously mentioned, I’ve always been useless with my skin. But as I’m advancing through my thirties (at alarming speed, I was 19, two minutes ago) I’m becoming more aware of a need to look after the largest organ of our body – the skin!
I’m also someone who is pretty useless at taking daily pills. So I was worried about having to take three, like I did with Perfect7® Renewal Advanced.
The three supplements are a multivitamin and mineral tablet, Omega-3 capsule and the Ceramosides™ capsule. Maybe because I was part of a trial or maybe because I was actually curious to see if this product could make a difference to my skin, I mostly (give or take a day or two) managed to take the pills every day.
After a few days, I noticed that I wasn’t feeling as sluggish and my skin wasn’t looking as dry and dull as usual. I wondered if it was Perfect7® Renewal Advanced or whether it was because I was proud of myself for doing something proactive for my skin. I also wondered if it was because whilst taking the supplements first thing, I’d take them with a glass of water – something I’m awful at doing!
About three weeks into taking the supplements, I noticed that make up was sitting waaaaay better on my forehead – which is where it usual sinks into the wrinkles almost instantly.
Another three weeks in and I noticed that make up wasn’t appearing to cake around my nose after a little while, as it usually does.
At the final meeting, where I got together with the skin analyst and spoke to those at Seven Seas about my results, I reflected on what Perfect7® Renewal Advanced and its Ceramosides™ had done for my skin.
Whilst I didn’t necessarily have any ‘signs of ageing’ that needed to be drastically improved in the first place, I DID notice a difference in how moisturised and firm my skin felt, especially around my forehead, eyes and chin.
Furthermore, it just felt less dry and dull.
Moreover, I told the guys at Seven Seas that having a routine and putting the healthy benefits of multivitamins, oils and Ceramosides™ into my skin actually gave me the impetus to invest more effort into my overall skin health.
Moving forward, I’m still taking the supplements every day to ensure I get the required benefits and I’m trying to get a proper skin cleansing and moisturising routine in place.
What do you do to look after your skin from within?
